Interim Tier 4 emissions training now available through John Deere University!
First course is free!
Emissions regulations are having a growing impact on John Deere, John Deere dealers, and you. Terms such as Interim Tier 4, Final Tier 4, non-attainment areas, and in-use regulations are becoming part of our vocabulary.
The Customer Emission Compliance for Fleets course provides a common approach to fleet emission planning. This course defines terms, reviews the current emission environment and current and upcoming regulations, and examines why these things are important to all of us. By the end of this course, you will be well on your way to finding ways to keep your fleet compliant with current and future emission regulations.
The course is divided into eight lessons that can be taken at your convenience and cover the following topics:
Lesson 1 — The Clean Air Act
Lesson 2 — Non-Attainment and In-Use Regulations
Lesson 3 — Retrofit
Lesson 4 — Repower
Lesson 5 — DERA Funding and Government Grants
Lesson 6 — Grant Writing
