Starting Pay: $18/hour for entry level diesel technician with minimal tools, basic knowledge of equipment.

Summary of Position
On the job and formal training to develop the skills as a compact equipment gas mechanic and/or diesel mechanic in troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydrostatic, hydraulic and powertrain systems on compact equipment and attachments in a safe and timely manner. Maintain technical and product knowledge of equipment sold within dealerships area of responsibility. Participate in all appropriate training.
Educations, Skills, and/or Experience Requirements
Successful candidates will have a two-year technical degree in Diesel or Gas engine Technician and/or at least one year or more of mechanical experience. We are looking for team members that have a understanding of mechanical and diagnostic skills, basic computer skills, and excellent communication skills. Welding/fabrication, and equipment experience would be a plus. Applicants would be required to own their own tools. Opportunity to earn tool credits. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
